I now pronounce you. . . The PooPoo Prince!

It has been a long, hard battle and it is still being fought but Nick has started to poop on the toilet. Granted, he has to play while he does it and it takes roughly 30-60 minutes to get done, but, it has happened! We actually went to Walmart on Tuesday and he pooped there after telling me he had to go. (After a mad rush to the bathroom - that store is HUGE! I had to ask the cleaning guy to let us in, he said no until I was about to go into the men's room and then he said, fine, but I don't understand why you just don't wait! I had to beg Nick to actually poo but the airplane treat he received apparently worked and we continued on to the toy aisle to get a wonderful airplane and car for his efforts!) Since that day he has told me 3 times he has had to go. The frozen treat or special chocolate he gets does seem to work, but I don't care as long as he does it in the toilet.

We also went to the Aquarium recently and I walked away with these two great shots. These birds are all over the state and you can find them in the wild and get fairly close to them. They are much easier to see at the aquarium though and I was pretty pleased with the outcome of the shots. Jeff and the boys didn't enjoy the delay but the pictures are totally worth it.

Beautiful pictures. it was worth it. Good for Nick. I hate potty training. It has to be one of the worse things parents have to do. although Trenton did it in one day. I was stoked.

I would have to agree. Potty training is the pits. I am glad that you have had so much success. When it is completed it is one of the greatest things a parent can go through the first 3 years of a childs life.

I hate pottytraining. That's all I have to say about that. Unless you want a complete novel! Congrats!!

Yea for Nick! I have a few sisters who are struggling with potty training right now. I have to admit I do not look forward to that! One of my nephewes turns 4 this month and he has just refused to use the potty. He is a big boy and says that he likes to go poop in his diapers. My sister tried bribing him and he just said "no thank you mom." All I can say is I never volunteer to change those diapers!!!

My one claim to fame is that I potty trained myself at 18 months. My Mum said that she just one day found me sitting on the potty with my diaper on the floor and thought I was just trying to be cute, but sure enough, I went potty and never went in my diaper again. I am the youngest of five though, maube there is some kind of train four get one free deal.

Potty training is the pits, I hate it and it is so bad with boys. It took Ben FOREVER to want to go to the potty. It took me to feed him baby food at a meal because he was still doing "baby things" that finally got us to kick the diaper habit.

Your pic are cool, are those Great Egrets? You see birds similar to those in East Texas.
