The Train Engineer Hard at Work. Nick got some new trains at a yard sale this weekend and has thoroughly enjoyed playing with them.

Nick loves the back yard and all of the dirt that goes with it. I recently made it habitable and cut back the 15' "weeds" that had taken over. Not only are the girls (the dogs) happy, but Nick can now walk AND play in the back yard. I still have a lot of work to do but much to our surprise grass is actually growing! Although there aren't many plants that won't grow in 90% humidity without help, they just all seem to be weeds (which have the prettiest flowers. I had the hardest time cutting them down; mentally as well as physically, they were 15' tall!) But alas, the homeowners' association will stop bugging me about the toys in the front yard.

Trains...a favorite past time of my boys as well. The love Thomas and all his buddies. Good luck with your backyard. I do not envy you at all. I so not look forward to yard work...ever.

Lucky for you your husband is somewhat interested, I have to beg Jeff just to mow it (which has been 3 times a year, whenever it gets taller than me).
