A trip to Milton's house.

So we spent a few days in West Palm visiting Jeff's Great Uncle Milton. It was hot and muggy, not outside, no, inside the house where the A/C hasn't been used in months and some animal climbed into the attic and died! It stunk soooo BAD and we were more miserable than normal. Milton likes to complain a lot (not that I am much better right now) and he loves to talk politics, my least favorite subject. Regardless of how many times you tell him you don't keep up with politics and hate the subject, he will continually ask your opinion. Should your opinion be wrong - Watch Out! But we love him and continue to visit him through a tortured trip. He thoroughly enjoys it and since he has no friends or family left, he really does appreciate the company.

I love getting together with my kids and family of earlier generations! My kids are fortunate, on Shawn's side, to have all the great-grandparents. It is awesome to spend time like that, despite the many interesting smells!

I love that picture of Alex. You are much stronger than I. Bad smells that can not be fixed it one thing Ican't handle.

I don't think I was handling the smell or the heat very well. We spent A LOT of time outside playing. Imagine the beatiful smell of road kill right there in the living room with the TV almost as loud as it can go (#60 for volume on his box)and Milton yelling over the incredible noise of the TV and getting aggravated over Nick yelling loud. What a trip it always is!

I love the pic with their great uncle Milton. It is sooooo cute. Totally worth the humidity and stench.
